FSSAI Issues order regarding display of display boards for different Food Businesses
As per order issued dated 19 September 2018, FSSAI has made mandatory the display of food safety display boards for consumer awareness. Display board needs to be displayed all the times in a prominent place in the premises. The display board needs to mention the FSSAI license number so as to ensure compliance of the conditions of the license.
Peanuts Recalled by PepsiCo because of Aflatoxin contamination
Peanuts were recalled from multiple countries due to higher than permitted levels of Aflatoxin contamination in the product. According to PepsiCo, the product has been sent to and sold in Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. PepsiCo is requesting people not to consume the product and return it to the point of sale.

FSSAI has separated standards for frozen vegetables like beans, peas, cauliflower, and spinach.
